This is a plain-English summary of how Method treats your data. The full privacy policy will be published before launch and will take precedence.
Right now: the waitlist.
- What we collect
- Only what you type into the waitlist form: your email address, the qualification you're studying and your exam board.
- Why
- To email you when Method opens, and to decide which papers and boards to support first. No marketing lists, no selling, no sharing.
- Where it lives
- In our database, hosted by Neon, with the website hosted by Vercel. Both act only as service providers on our behalf.
- Cookies & storage
- This site sets no tracking cookies. Your light or dark mode choice is saved in your own browser and never sent to us.
- Leaving the list
- Email jacksonwang0407@gmail.com and we'll delete your entry.
At launch: the app.
- What we collect
- Your email (waitlist and account), the papers you practise, the working you write or scan, your marks and feedback, and basic usage data such as device type and which features you use.
- Why we collect it
- To mark your work, track your progress and recommend practice. Scans and handwriting are processed only to read and mark them.
- Improving the marking
- We may use anonymised working and disputed marks to improve marking accuracy. You can opt out in settings or by email; opting out never limits what you can use.
- What we never do
- Sell your data. Show ads. Share your working with schools, exam boards or anyone else without your explicit permission.
- Cookies & storage
- Only what's essential: keeping you signed in and remembering preferences such as light or dark mode. No tracking cookies.
- Deleting your data
- Delete your account in the app or email jacksonwang0407@gmail.com. Your working and marks are removed within 30 days.
